Abeer Lababneh is a Board Certificate Behavior Analysis (BCBA) and entrepreneur currently based in Ottawa Canada. Fluent in Arabic and English, Abeer has spent the last 13 years studying and working within the field of ASD  therapy and support of autism awareness throughout Canada, the USA, and the Middle Eastern regions. She is passionate about the work she is doing to advance and support the lives of individuals and families with autism across the globe.

Abeer started her journey in 2008 after completing her Diploma in Applied Behavior Analysis at Algonquin College in Canada. Shortly thereafter she joined Emerging Minds, a Centre for Autism and Psychological Services. There she received continuous training to become an Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) Therapist, an evidence-based therapy that focuses on applied behavior analysis. She continued her work with children and families with autism in Canada until 2013 when moved to Saudi Arabia to further her training in ESDM in Arabic and began working privately as an Applied Behavioral Consultant with individuals with autism and/or with developmental disorders. During this time, she worked to provide public and private workshops and programs to support the awareness for families and the community for individuals with autism and developmental disorders.

Abeer would later go on to peruse her education in Behavioral Science and received her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with a specialization in Autism at Paul State University in 2017.
In 2017 She was offered a position working with families and individuals as an ABA Therapist with Autism Research Center in Riyadh.
In 2018, she returned to Canada and was offered a partnership in the company at Emerging Minds to which she accepted, offering behavioral counseling and support for individuals and their families on the autism spectrum, behavioral disorders, anxiety, and depression problems.
Based on high demand, Abeer has been requested to offer numerous workshops and ABA training programs for the autism community in Ontario, CA., California, USA., and cooperated with several centers in Dubai, UAE.
In 2019 she furthered her understanding of Acceptance and Compliance therapy (ACT), completing the program under Dr. Stephen Hayes, Professor of Psychology in the Behavior Analysis program at the University of Nevada.
In 2020, she was accredited as a Certified Behavior Analyst (CBA) and shortly after received her International Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (BCBA).
In 2021, Abeer has gone on to establish her own company in Canada – Insight – an organization that specializes in rehabilitation and the provision of psychotherapy services through the science of ACT.

She recently accepted an offer to join the Autism Navigator program that will be a leading technology in Canada to provide early intervention and parent training with individuals and families with autism.

Abeer believes there is a great deal of work to be done to increase autism awareness within the global community and greatly looks forward to continuing to advance the accessibility for parent coaching and training for families with children with autism and the implementation of acceptance and commitment therapy.
In 2021 Abeer joined the first Arab platform in behavioral analysis, ABA Resources to spread the knowledge, skills, and evidence-based practices in the MENA.
